For the quarter ended March 31, 2024, Hindustan Zinc recorded a consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹5,033 crore. This marks a substantial 68% increase compared to the ₹2,995 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company's revenue from operations also saw a healthy jump, rising by 49% year-on-year to ₹13,544 crore, up from ₹9,087 crore in Q4 FY23.
In a move that will cheer shareholders, the board of directors has also recommended a final dividend of ₹11 per equity share. This demonstrates the company's strong cash flow generation and commitment to shareholder returns.
